This week has been crazy! Starting to feel overwhelmed and wondering if I am going to pull this semester off.  Things just aren't going as smoothly, having technology issues which is stressful. Live Text is frustrating I have copies of things that I would like to get rid of and can't. To top it off I have my MTLE on Friday and don't feel even close to being ready.  I really hope things start turning around.

Today was my first 5hrs of field experience and it was AWESOME!  I was at Woodson Kindergarten Center which has 17 kindergarten classrooms. It is set up where there is a red and green hallway each class was a different animal. I am with Mr. Jensen in The Red Moose Room. I was able to enjoy there literacy time and math I jumped right in helping.  I also joined  in the play center and smart area which is based from The Smart Curriculum which has large motor activities that works their brain. To have a room strictly for that is a blessing.  I am looking forward to my next visit!

I am so excited to start doing my lab hours at Woodson Elmentary in Austin, MN this coming Friday.    I have spoke with the teacher and he seems just as enthused as I.   Coming up this month I will be taking my MTLE starting to get nervous. Has anyone taken their tests yet. Good Luck to everyone!

Week 1 Blog

This week we discussed about good  teachers. I have always wanted to be a teacher as long as I  can remember. I remembe rone teacher I had for Algebra 1 and I was doing poorly. She noticed and scheduled ttime during sstudyhall to meet with her and also another class mate who was  She sat with us day after day making sure we understood every part of Algebra. She taught it in away that we could clearly understand. I ended up passin g that class with a B+ i never thought i would get there but I am so thankful that she never gave up on me.  Unfortunatleey the next year in Algebra 2 I had a complete opposite teacher and barely passed. That is why I want to be a teacher because I don't want a child to feel as helpless  and alone as I did in Algebra 2. I want them to feel they are valued and will succeed just like my Algebra 1 teacher made me feel.
